Visual light transmission (VLT) percentage determines the darkness of a window tint.  VLT percentage is the amount of light that is allowed to pass through a window film.  For example, a 30% window tint will allow 30% of the light to pass through the film while blocking 70%.  So, lower the VLT percentage, the darker the tint.  You can get an approximate idea of the VLT percentages from the image (click for larger view).

The legal limit for auto window tints varies based on chassis.  For cars, legal limit in GA is 32%.  Trucks, vans, suv’s etc., have a different chassis, so the back of the vehicle can be as dark as you’d like, as long as the front two windows meet the State legal limit.

Window tinting laws vary from state to state and province to province. Before applying any window tinting materials, you should thoroughly review the appropriate state regulations as well as local enforcement policies to insure compliance with all applicable standards.

Customers should wait about 3 days in summers, and 5 days in winters before rolling down the windows. It still takes about 10-15 days for all the liquids and glues to completely dry.

Don’t use chemical products i.e. windex to clean the windows. Try using a clean wet cloths to clean them.
